- Expression, form and color characterized by strong clarity: a prime examplel of Schmidt-Rottluff's watercolors from this period. - From 1920 onwards, he regularly traveled to Jershöft on the Baltic Sea, his most important creative retreat. - The medium watercolor is of central importance in his oeuvre and covers the period from the "Brücke" years to his final creative phase in the 1970s.
The work is documented in the archive of the Karl and Emy Schmidt-Rottluff Foundation, Berlin.

In good condition with beautiful colors. Isolated, tiny pinholes in the corners and in the lower edge. Slightly irregularly browned and sunned along the right edge.
