- Fritz Winter is considered one of the most important protagonists of this period. - Works by the artist were already on display in two exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in the 1950s. - From fall 2023, the Neue Galerie in Kassel dedicated a solo exhibition to the artist entitled "Fritz Winter. documenta-Künstler der ersten Stunde".
