- From the “Le nebulose” series of works from the 1970s. - At a time marked by space exploration, Dorazio addresses a vision of the universe fragmented into tiny particles. - A fascinating interplay of repetition, sequence, and omission: with the lower left corner of the picture, the artist refers to the original emptiness of the cosmos. - Paintings from the late 1970s are part of important museum collections, including the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich, and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York.
