Various Photographers ( (mid-19th Century) Group of Six Ambrotypes of Men, 1860s Comprising: A 1/2-plate portrait in book-form papier mache case with mother-of-pearl inlay. A 1/4-plate portrait contained in a leather case opening and the front and back to view as a positive and negative. A 1/6-plate portrait contained in a leather case, the pad stamped "A. J. Fox, St. Louis." A 1/6-plate portrait contained in thermoplastic case "Shield with Scroll and Shell Border" (Krainik, 115). A 1/6-plate portrait of a man leaning on a table with a hat on it, contained in half leather case. A 1/6-plate portrait of a man wearing a hat, contained in half leather case.
